The Choice

Life has its toll

Sometimes our focus gets blurry

We feel as though certain things are more important

When they're not

We go through life without wondering

Whether there was more to it

Or if we've just created an illusion that we simply can't escape

Life throws its obstacles at you

Our minds then become overwhelmed

But it doesn't mean we should let it throw us off

And make us think it's all about me and my issues

We can only find our purpose if we decide

If God Himself would give us our blueprint to life

Each and every human on earth has that choice

To follow our true life's purpose

But for now, we can just get caught up in ourselves

Forgetting about the people around us

And thinking only about ourselves

But when you do choose, when you do figure it out

It becomes all clear

Our life was always meant to be a sacrifice for others

And becomes the most rewarding thing on earth

No joy can explain the beauty of being a servant to someone

So you decide

Whether you want to follow God's heart

Or to follow your own
