The greatest gift ever given
The greatest gift ever known
A man hung on a cross
Love given to a fallen humanity
So that God Himself
Can be reconciled back to His own creation
So that we may be given life
And life everlasting
Eternity now rests in His hands
So if we want to receieve it
We can ask for it
God in his loving grace
Is willing to freely give
To all those who simply ask
The greatest gift that a person can receive in life is the life that Christ freely offers to us through the cross. One would be a fool to reject and choose his own path. God alone satisfies every desire of the heart, but sadly man seeks the things in this world to satisfy his own desires.
