Everyday I hear and see things in the news that upsets me but it's nothing new. Understanding or seeing how things are now compared to 15-20 years ago, things have changed so dramatically. Things are just more out in the open and just being openly flaunted without a care. Sex is more of a problem now more than ever. Kids are having sex younger and younger and they are not understanding the consequences. Things being shown on tv, movies and even music have become so vulgar that there's no way to distinguish what's good anymore. It's sad to see how society is becoming more secular as we see it today. We can truly only imagine what's to come in the future for us and if we get to see the day our own children and their children.
But in the midst of this, as repeated over the years and recorded in the bible, God still has his people. A people willing to follow him in spite of how dark the times may be. In spite of all of what the world tries to do lure his people away from Him. There's a people, and my call to anyone is are you one of them and/or do you want to be? There's more to life than what this world offers. From what I've experienced in my own life, nothing else truly satisfies the heart like God does, absolutely nothing. So hence, were given a choice to be a light in the midst of this darkness we see everyday. We can be a difference, without us even knowing.
